Camping in Sequoia!

Brady and I got to join a group of friends this past weekend to go campin in Kings Canyon (in Sequoia National Park). We both love camping, but this was the first time that we actually went camping together. We had never been up to Sequoia and seen the HUGE Red Wood trees, so it was quite the treat! It was a good time to get away from the city and get a little dirty if you know what I mean. I wouldn't say I prefer to be dirty, but I sure don't mind it if it's only for a while. There's just something about being out in the mountains that I love...and miss. The Red Woods were breath-taking! I have never seen such majestic trees in my whole life! I would have stood and looked at them for hours, but my neck starting hurting after a few minutes. We had a great group of friends to be with - such a variety that it kept things interesting.

Right now all I want to do is go to Wal-Mart and buy a rubbermaid tub for all of our camping gear that my parents gave us (they have since retired from camping), organize it, and be ready for the next camping experience (whenever that might be). But, the Lord has blessed me with work for right now, so I'll sit tight until 5pm and then go to Wal-Mart. Hurray for camping!
