So, we decided that we had had enough of the yellow in our living room - it was time for a change (which is quite easy when it comes to paint because of Brady's job). A few weeks ago, while I was in Texas, Brady painted our bedroom this great "Almond Latte" color - so we decided that we should paint the living room the same color. We did - and it looked awful! It was a kind of purple(ish) looking color at night and in the morning it looked red. Plus, the living room is so tiny that a dark color did not work - AT ALL! So, we re-painted it like this:

I haven't taken a picture of the finished look yet - it is quite transformed in there. We are thrilled with the outcome and have been calling it our "grown-up" living room. Before, we had just played the cards that were dealt to us (putting things up on the walls that I had had from my other rooms). I got to go out and buy a few new things that would look nice on the walls and complete the "grown-up" look. I haven't quite finished - but it looks ten times better than it did.
