This is my friend, Ciera Standifer. I guess we met about 4 years ago because I applied to work for her Dad...which I didn't end up getting (working directly for him), but I got to "babysit" Ciera! It was a great time - we would go swimming, get ice cream, hang out, watch movies... Since then, we've tried to keep in touch as much as possible - now that she doesn't need a babysitter. I am thankful to be in her life and get to watch her learn and grow, especially through the teenage years. It has been a learning experience for me - making me think about different situations and how I would handle it. It has created some good discussions for Brady and I. All I can say is that I am even more convinced that prayer is a powerful tool in the life of a wife/mother. I am thankful for the Standifer family because they have welcomed Brady and me into their life and allowed us to become a part of their family. God is so good to provide "family" wherever we go!
