Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We were blessed to be able to go home to Amarillo for Thanksgiving! Dave and Tricia and Brady and I all got to fly home - so we had a "big family time" as Grandpa would say. We got to see Grandma and Grandpa (File) which was a blessing because we haven't seen them in 2 years. Grandma and Grandpa and Nana love the Lord and are continuing to learn and grow in their knowledge of Him. It is a blessing to watch because they are in different stages of life, often difficult ones, and they are choosing to glorify the Lord and know that He reigns and is sovereign over all things. What a blessing to observe folks that have been walking with the Lord for more than 50 years and are still learning about and loving Him!
We had such a good time with Mom and Dad too! They have a membership at a local gym which we put to good use during our time there! We got to go swimming, play some volleyball, explore new machines, walk on the treadmill... Dad has been swimming without goggles this whole time, which I think is terrible - so I got to help him pick out some that fit his face. I think they might revolutionize his swimming from now on. Amazing what you can see without all the clorine in your eyes! Anyways - we thoroughly enjoyed our time with the family!
Thinking about this weekend, my heart and mind are full of the goodness of God and wonder at His perfect timing.
