A few weeks ago - the fabulous four (Dave, Tricia, Brady, and I) drove to Oregon (Grants Pass, where Dave's from) for Dave's brother's wedding. It was a great road trip that we all needed. Oregon is beautiful! It was the first time Brady and I have been up there, so Dave and Tricia were our personal tour guides. I really enjoyed seeing this part of my sister's life that for the past 5 1/2 years I've only heard stories about. The pictures above are of our adventures exploring around where Dave's family lives. Hellgate Canyon was absolutely beautiful! I was told that some of John Wayne's movies were filmed there... We climbed around the rocks for a few hours and took in the crisp air and beautiful view. On our way back, we stopped at Mt. Shasta. By the way, Jonathan and Hope's wedding was great! We had a good time celebrating with them and spending time with the family. Dave's Mom and Dad let us all pile in their house - so we really enjoyed that! All of Dave's family was there (2 sisters and their families, Dave and Tricia, Brady and me, Mr. and Mrs. Hulet....) - I think with all of us there were 18 or so people in that house! It was a time of laughter and refreshment!
